I started my work behind the chair in 2001, and after receiving my BSW from ASU in 2007, I opened Sheared by Melinda to create a space where everyone can be comfortable and feel like family.  My passion has always been in helping others feel and look their best, and I have a huge love for connecting with people.  I am constantly striving to learn through continued education,  so I can deliver the highest experience to every guest.  I am known for being extremely meticulous in my work, this is where my perfectionist  personality shines through.  I guarantee quality in all of my products and services, and am driven by my long withstanding commitment to my clients’ needs.

Outside of the salon you will most likely find me spending time outdoors with my family hiking or inspiring a class on a bike.  I try and bring my fun loving personality to wherever I go.  Honest, trustworthy, kind, and reliable in everything I do.
